CHANGCHUN, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Russia's Zvezda eased past Tsen Tou of China 4-1 in the 26th round of Silk Road Supreme Hockey League on Saturday in northeast China's Jilin City Stadium.
After a goalless first period, Zvezda's Lapin Sergei opened the score from behind the blue line and the visiting team extended the lead with Sorkin Maxim's individual play in the second period to 2-0.
In the third period, the 6th-ranked Russian team switched their offensive machine immediately to full power and scored twice to achieve a dominating 4-0 lead. Zenchikov Igor managed to put the puck in the net once for Tsen Tou but they could not turn the table.
The bottom-placed Tsen Tou will play Khimik next Monday.
