JAKARTA, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Defending champions China got their third consecutive victory as they beat the hosts Indonesia 20-4 in the women's water polo tournament at the Jakarta Asian Games here on Sunday.
In other actions, Kazakhstan cracked Hong Kong, China, 22-2 and Japan slammed Thailand 19-5.
"We had two hard battles against Kazakhstan and Japan during the first two days and we won them all. That gave us a lot of confidence that we could win over other teams. We did well today and controlled the game," said Chen Xiao.
With three straight victories, China will face Hong Kong, China and Thailand for their next two games.
"We will try our best and enjoy the games," said Chen, who scored 3 goals for China on Sunday.
A total of six teams compete in women's water polo at the Jakarta Asian Games. China has won the gold medal in the past two Games.
