HANOI, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Corolla Altis 2017 cars made in Vietnam late year have faulty rear shock absorbers, so Toyota Vietnam is recalling them, according to the Japanese-invested firm on Wednesday.
The fault poses a risk of the absorbers colliding with surrounding items and making noise, Toyota Vietnam said, adding that they will be fixed free of charge from now to next March.
In the Vietnamese market, Corolla Altis 2017 has five models with price tags of 702-936 million Vietnamese dong (30,900-41,200 U.S. dollars).
